Facility Management – Maintenance

In the scope of facility management and maintenance, ABC covers both preventive and current maintenance as well as repair interventions. For this, a series of procedures are followed to ensure the proper functioning of the building systems and electromechanical installations as originally designed and constructed. Commercial preventive maintenance consists of a series of time-based action requirements that provide the basis for planning, programming and ultimately performing scheduled and corrective maintenance.

Preventive maintenance detects the occurrence of damage and malfunctions, with the aim of timely intervention prior to the occurrence of damage or destruction, due to significant damage, of a component, machine or equipment.

As the complexity of building systems and installations increases, their management and maintenance are adjusted accordingly to ensure optimum performance.

The benefits are mainly the reduction of capital for repairs, the limitation of unplanned shut downs and repairs, the extension of equipment life, the saving of life cycle costs and ultimately the provision of safe, operating systems and buildings that meet customer-user requirements.

Project Management

At ABC, the first challenge we face in managing a technical project is to ensure that it is executed and delivered taking into account defined constraints (available time, limited budget, specific EHS procedures etc.). The second challenge, which is even more ambitious, is the optimization that needs to be done to all factors which affect execution of the project.
